Wow, dude you are amaizing, I had given up on my laptop wanted to buy a new one. But after the 5 steps, its back to the old self. I honestly can not believe it was sorted so easy, am thinking of another one that I stashed away due to the same problem now.

not even joking, this took my pc from running at 100% disc to 2-3%. thank you so much man. i did however when trying to "find updates for windows" it gives me an error and cant find any. and it says im missing some. also my amd stopped being able to update maybe 4-6 months ago. wonder if the issue is linked. thank you so much for the help though

I did this and now my computer seems to be malfunctioning! I now cannot sign in to my account, after receiving a message on booting up that my computer could not connect to the external storage device... there is no external storage device... what's happened?!
